Un symposium intitutlé « A really beautiful mind »: a tribute to Martin Karplus’ life and legacy aura lieu vendredi 4 avril à 14h à l'Institut de Science et d'Ingénierie Supramoléculaires.
It was with great sadness that the world learned of the passing of Martin Karplus in December last year. Pioneer in the field of molecular modelling simulations, Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2013, Martin Karplus funded a school in Strasbourg that has welcomed and trained dozens of scientists, now professors and researchers across Europe. The gathering in Strasbourg on April 4 is a tribute to a really beautiful mind endowed with exceptional intelligence in bringing people together despite ethnic and cultural diversity to create a school of thought. The symposium will include contributions from former and current members of the Karplus school in Strasbourg as well as eminent friends and collaborators in Europe.
